Introduction

It is vital that Calderdale has a strong and sustainable local transport system which supports and strengthens the local economy, protects the local environment and has a positive impact on the lives of people who live and work in the District.

This section gives information on Calderdale's transport priorities, the West Yorkshire Local Transport Plan and the Sustainable Travel initiatives being developed across the District and West Yorkshire-wide.
