Public rights of way
Rights of Way improvement plan
Calderdale's Rights of Way Improvement Plan has been produced in response to the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000. It seeks to improve the public rights of way network in Calderdale, taking into account the public's need for access by foot, by bicycle and by horse, within towns and villages and to the countryside, for exercise and recreation as well as for accessing work, shops and services.
After extensive consultation with groups and individuals we have published Calderdale's Rights of Way Improvement Plan online and you can read it via the link on this page.
