Parsonage Lane Car Park, Brighouse

Description: Work is due to begin on the Brighouse Bus Station Development on Monday 30th June 2008, which will result in the loss of approximately 12 parking spaces.
The development is due for completion in March 2009 and alternative parking is available close by in the Commercial Street Car Park.
We apologise for any inconveniece this may cause.
North Bridge Car Park, Halifax

Description: Painting of North Bridge will commence on Monday 16th June 2008 the duration of the work is anticipated to last 20 weeks.This will result in the unavailibility of approximately 60 parking bays. The remainder of the Car Park will remain open as normal.
Alternative long stay parking is available at Mulcture Hall Road Car Park

Millroyd Street East and West Car Parks, Brighouse

Changes to parking regulations

Description: From 31 March 2008, new parking regulations will come into effect that will see the first nationwide changes to parking since 1993.
What was previously known as Decriminalised Parking Enforcement (DPE) will now be referred to as Civil Parking Enforcement (CPE) and Parking Attendants will become Civil Enforcement Officers.

Car Sharing Pilot Scheme

Description: From 3rd July 2006, the Council is piloting a car sharing scheme in Cow Green car park in Halifax. Between 7.15am and 9.30am, Level One will be available to car sharers only i.e. vehicles with more than one adult in the car. Parking will be discounted between these times for car sharers with a full day parking ticket costing £2. Non car sharers will be able to use Level One after 9.30am if spaces are available. Description: Fed up with not having any change? It is now possible to purchase a pre paid Parking Card for £10 or £20 from our reception in Mulcture Hall Road, Halifax or from any Calderdale District Cash Office.
