Cycling

Cycling is important to Calderdale Council and we are keen to encourage more people to take up Cycling through Cycle Sport, Recreation and Sustainable Travel. In the UK last year over a million more people took up cycling and numbers are continuing to rise. To get involved it is all about finding the best pathway for you. The Calderdale Cycling web pages are designed to support you as a cyclist and provide information to make cycling an enjoyable activity for everyone.

Employer's cycle scheme

Cyclescheme is the Government's Cycle to Work initiative allowing an employee to purchase a tax free bike. It's a brilliant programme where everyone wins - employees make big savings on new bikes, employers get a healthier workforce and save money too.
