Joint strategic needs assessment

Improving our picture of Calderdale's health and well being

Calderdale Council and Calderdale Primary Care Trust have been working closely together to improve our understanding of the future health and well-being of the District's residents. This process, and the resulting document, is termed the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA).

During autumn 2008, the first version of the JSNA was discussed with a range of groups and bodies responsible for commissioning and providing services. Comments were also received from several voluntary and community organisations.

Following this period of "dialogue", a number of amendments and additions have been made. This document is available to view or download:
