Care Services work in partnership with parents to ensure that services and support are available for children in need and their families and carers. The service strives to:

• support families in their own homes
• assess the needs of children and families
• work in partnership with other agencies to support children and their families
• protect children from harm
• provide care for children who cannot be cared for by their own families.
