Day services mental health collection
Housed within the Access for All room within the Central Library is Calderdale's largest collection of mental health publications, a specialised collection funded by Calderdale Inclusion Support Services. It it constantly updated with relevant mental health material for study, research and self-help.
All our mental health books, DVDs, CDs, videos and cassettes are available on three weekly loans and are free of charge. We have some items available in Bengali, Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati and Bengla - please ask staff for more details. There are also a wide selection of journals and magazines for reading within the library and free leaflets on various mental health issues for you to take away.
The Access Room opening times are as follows:

|Saturday||10.00 am to 2.00 pm|
You can visit and take out items from our collection whenever the Access Room is open and staff there will be only too pleased to help you. Should the need arise a staff member from the Inclusion Support Service will be there to give extra help on Thursday afternoons. So please call in and take a look around.
