The Government has produced a series of booklets that are available (free of charge) for the following groups of people affected by the Act:

• people who may lack capacity or wish to plan ahead for the future
• family and other unpaid carers
• staff working in health and social care
• advice workers
• people with learning disabilities
• Independent Mental Capacity Advocates.
