Reablement
General information
Availability:
Reablement offers a flexible service each day between 7.00 am and 10.00 pm. Outside of these hours support is provided by the Council's Out of Hours Team.
The Reablement Team:
The Team includes Occupational Therapists as well as specialist Reablement workers. Everyone in Reablement is trained to promote your independence and encourage you to regain skills or learn alternative ways of doing things. They will help you to do things for yourself rather than doing things for you.
Standards:
The trained and skilled staff will give you help and support, always treat you with respect for your privacy and personal dignity, and help you feel safe. All personal records about the help and support you receive will be kept in confidence and shared only with your permission.
Registration and Inspection
The Reablement Service is registered and inspected by the Care Quality Commission|
(CQC). You can ask the CQC for a copy of their latest inspection report on the service.
