Smoking and second-hand smoke
Both smoking and exposure to second-hand smoke may cause many health problems including heart disease, respiratory problems and cancer. Consequently we are taking action on three fronts:
- encouraging and helping existing smokers to quit
- preventing smoking initiation
- minimising exposure to second-hand smoke.
