Short breaks for children

Disabled children up to 5 years old can get funding to support their needs once in an early years setting. This is usually in the form of a 1:1 support worker.

Disabled children over 5 can have their needs assessed which may lead to support to access and be included in local community and out of school activities, a short break away from their family, and overnight breaks.
