Wellholme Park Children's Centre

Wellholme Park Children's Centre, situated right at the edge of Wellholme Park in Brighouse has a long history of successfully caring for local children. With over seventy years' experience of raising children's achievements and a Level 3 in the National Day Nurseries Association Quality Assurance Scheme ' Quality Counts', you can be sure that this recently renovated nursery offers your children a great start in life!
The centre works in partnership with local schools, community groups, health professionals, family support and other agencies to ensure all children have the best possible start in life. Regular, ongoing consultation with parents, children, professional partners and the wider community helps shape the services on offer in the centre and across other venues in Brighouse, Hipperholme and Lightcliffe.
There are many opportunities for parents and the centre to work together and ensure that children are given the best chances to reach their potential in the five outcomes of Every Child Matters (Be Healthy, Enjoy and Achieve, Stay Safe, Make a Positive Contribution, Achieve Economic Well-being). One of these opportunities is the Parents' Forum: if you are a parent and would like to get involved call 01484 714768 and ask to speak to Julia or Dawn.
