About Twitter
Twitter is a free social networking service which lets you send short text messages of 140 characters in length, called 'tweets', to friends or 'followers’.
The service can be accessed on the web or via a mobile phone.
Calderdale Council is using Twitter to keep you up-to-date with the latest news:
- press releases and news of meetings: Calderdale Council on Twitter|
- road gritting in the area: Calderdale Highways on Twitter|
- shows at the theatre: Victoria Theatre on Twitter|.
You can create an account for free on the Twitter| web site. Once you have an account you can follow our ‘tweets’.
