Clay House

Take a look, make a booking

We welcome enquiries and will be glad to discuss your needs and show you around our lovely hall, so you can decide if it is the right place for you. There is no obligation to hire Clay House - we're happy for you to come and look around. We hold regular open evenings - usually on Wednesdays - get in touch to confirm what date you'd like to look around, or to arrange another day if this is not convenient.

When you visit you can get the feel of the place and begin properly to plan your event, and we can start to discuss all your arrangements, including the layout of chairs and tables, Health and Safety issues and so on.

While we can prepare and serve tea, coffee and biscuits, we do not provide a catering service - this means that you can choose any caterer you like, or do your own catering in the fully fitted kitchen.

The hall is licensed between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 a.m. (11 p.m. Sundays), and a bar service is provided free to all hirers who require it.

When you are satisfied that the Hall is suitable for your event, we ask you to complete and return our booking form; as confirmation we will return a legally binding contract for you to sign. Please do not fill in an application form until you have checked the suitability and availability of the venue on the date you want.
