Description

Todmorden Tourist Information Centre is managed by a Trust comprised of representatives from the local community, Todmorden Town Council and Calderdale Council. It is staffed by Calderdale Council staff assisted by volunteers.

Conveniently situated in the centre of the busy market town of Todmorden, this little gem of a centre offers exhibition space for local artists, as well as many other services including:

• Information about U.K. holidays and short breaks, days out, places to visit.
• Information about where to stay, in Calderdale and elsewhere in U.K., and an accommodation booking service.
• Information about national and local events, tickets for many of which can be purchased here.
• Theatre bookings for Bradford’s Alhambra Theatre, St Georges Hall, Oldham Coliseum, Victoria Theatre, Halifax and Todmorden Hippodrome.
• Bus and Rail information.
• Sale of Bus and Train Dayrovers, stamps.
• Sale of a wide variety of maps and books about Calderdale and the surrounding area, including town trails, walking, cycling, horse riding, historical and local guides.
• Postcards, videos and other souvenirs, including the "Yorkshire" range, and a wide range of Todmorden souvenirs.

Publications

The Calderdale Visitor Guide contains a wealth of useful information such as where to stay, where to eat, attractions in the area and more.
