Sport for everyone

After school clubs (disability specific)

Activity and Community Development recognises that After School Clubs may require assistance with setting up specific sessions for disabled young people who are experiencing problems in accessing mainstream sports and after school sports sessions.

The Unit is happy to assist with getting your group started by offering taster sessions in chosen sports and the loan of specialist equipment. Calderdale's Disability Sports Development Officer will carry out these taster sessions with support from qualified coaches from Activity and Community Development.
