Support for clubs and coaches

Coach education

Activity and Community Development promotes a full and comprehensive coach education programme running from September - July each year.

Experienced staff can also offer advice on current good practice regarding the recruitment of coaches.

The unit holds a database of recognised coaches. If you need someone to lead your activity or sports session, we maybe able to put you in touch with a qualified coach who can carry out the task you require.

Please note we require all coaching staff to undergo a mandatory Criminal Records Bureau ( CRB) check prior to the confirmation of any offer of employment.
