Spring Hall athletics track

The new athletics track at Spring Hall is now open to the public and is available for casual use (track only) and for formal bookings from clubs, schools and other organisations.

Casual users are welcome to use the track at any time when it is not booked for sole use by another organisation. It is open from dawn to dusk throughout the week and at weekends. It is closed at Christmas and at certain other bank holidays.

There is a block booking each Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6.00pm when the track is reserved for the sole use of the Halifax Harriers Athletic Club|.

The prices are, per visit:

• Adult £2.60, Adult with Passport to Leisure Card £1.90
• Child £1.60, Child with Passport to Leisure Card £1.15.

Casual users may wish to check the track availability before arrival to ensure that it is free to use. It may be closed in the case of adverse weather conditions. The payment entitles the user to the use of the track only. The use of any of the other jumping and throwing facilities is unfortunately not allowed without prior negotiation as per national coaching and safety guidelines. Casual users are asked to note that there is no dedicated first aid cover on the track.

There are limited changing and toilet facilities on site.
