Aquatots and Aquababies Classes

Swimming Classes for children under 5 are a fun and rewarding experience that helps build the bond between you and your child as they focus on trust.

The first year of a baby's life is crucial in terms of their development, as it is in this period that their brain grows most rapidly. Regular exercise plays a vital role in this, with every movement they make helping to strengthen their brain for new learning.

Baby swimming is completely natural; having spent months surrounded by fluid in the womb, babies have a real affinity with water. Making bath times fun is a great way of getting your baby used to water and building confidence for baby swimming. Gently splash water over his body or lay him on his back and move him gently through the water, with lots of eye contact and smiles.

Class Cancellation Monday 1 September 2014

Unfortunatley all Aqua Tots and Aqua Babies sessions are cancelled for this date only as staff training is taking place.

Sessions will restart on Monday 8 September 2014 along with a new teacher.

Have you tried Yogalates?

Yogalates is a fantastic method of exercise for busy people. This invigorating class will work your body helping you become more flexible, streamlined and toned; it will strengthen your core muscles whilst enhancing spinal alignment and posture.

Even one class a week will make a difference in your strength, balance and appearance. Once you start taking things from Yogalates practice into your daily living, your body will keep on changing and toning. It is also calming and a way of dynamic meditation.

Yoga breathing and relaxation techniques are taught to calm and restore you. All of which can be incorporated into your everyday life to relieve stress. A few minutes of breathing exercises will oxygenate the entire body, thus calming busy minds.

Pilates part of the class will help you increase your awareness of the core muscles and how to work with your body to achieve the maximum effect.
