Walk It Together - Health Walk
Meet Jean Butler outside Keighley Road Surgery, Keighley Road, Illingworth at 13.00 for a 2-3 mile walk.
Route varies - walks visit Mixenden, Bradshaw and Ogden.
N.B. Walks may be cancelled at short notice in poor weather - please ring 01422 281529 to check whether walks are going ahead.

Sunday 2nd October
Hep Dene and Historic Heptonstall
Meet Jan and Chris Buckley outside the Visitor and Canal Centre, Hebden Bridge at 10.30 for a 4.5 mile walk through Hebden Dale and finding out about historic Heptonstall.
Route includes some steep hills.

Wednesday 5th October
Calderdale Way 7
Meet at 10.30 outside the Town Hall in Todmorden, for a 9.5 miles walk that takes us above Todmorden and returns along the valley side.

Wednesday 12th October
The Big Autumn Walk
Bring your binoculars along to the Cromwell Bottom, near Brighouse (meet in the car park behind Cromwell House, off the A6025) at 10.30 for an autumnal walk around the Local Nature Reserve organised in partnership with Upbeat and Age Concern Calderdale and Kirklees.
The E8 bus service from Brighouse or Elland goes past the entrance to the site - details can be found at West Yorkshire Metro|

Building Stones in the Centre of Halifax
Meet Alison Tymon from West Yorkshire Geology Trust at 14.00 outside Halifax Minster main porch, Kirkgate, Halifax (SE 097 252) for a gentle 1 mile walk around the centre of Halifax to see the variety of local and imported decorative rocks used in the building in Halifax.
Walk ends at the Piece Hall.

Wednesday 26th October
From Manor Heath to Norland and Greetland
Meet Alan Greenwood outside the Jungle Experience, Manor Heath Park, Halifax at 10.30 for an 8 mile walk.
Suitable for children aged 11+ who are used to walking.

The Dene at the Double (very slowly)
Meet Iain Cameron in the car park at Jerusalem Farm, near Booth at 10.45 for a 3 miles walk to Upper Saltonstall and/or at 13.00 for a 3 mile walk to Wainstalls (6 miles if doing both routes).
Route includes some ascents and descents.
Easy walk with some climbing if doing one walk or moderate walk for anyone reasonably active if doing both.
