Play areas

Maintenance of play areas

Each play area is visited weekly by Playground Inspectors for cleansing and defect monitoring.

Any minor works are carried out at the time of the inspection. Work orders are created for other work that is required and this is prioritised for action. Each play area is also subject to a full Annual Inspection and Risk Assessments are updated annually. Repairs are conducted using a dedicated play area maintenance budget.
