Apple Grafting Course – Taster Session

Saturday 10 March and Wednesday 14 March 2012

Learn the fundamentals of grafting fruit trees from the Northern Fruit Group. The workshop will include a talk on how to graft followed by a demonstration of the technique and an opportunity to graft your own apple tree.

Cost £18. Meet at Shibden Hall, Halifax at 10am to 1pm. Wear outdoor clothing and bring work gloves, secateurs and a sharp knife. Booking essential – please telephone 01422 352246.

Dry Stone Walling Course – Taster Day

Saturday 24 March 2012

Meet at Shibden Hall, Shibden Estate, Halifax at 10am for a full day introductory course on dry stone walling. Bring safety boots, outdoor clothing and work gloves. Adults only please.
