Flutter Bites Cafe

Enjoy the parks wildlife as you sit in our covered outdoor patio area and take advantage of a variety of speciality coffees and home cooked food, making it an ideal place to rest whilst out walking your dog or take a break while your children play in the park.

Perhaps indulge over lunch with friends and take in the peaceful surroundings of one of Halifax’s most beautiful parks.

For whatever reason you decide to visit flutter-bites, you can be assured of high quality food and service.

Flutter-bites employs staff with learning disabilities, offering the opportunity to work and train in a busy cafe. The cafe also offers a training environment for students from local schools to gain experience of working in the community, this enables people to build confidence in their working ability. Some of the employees previously trained through Cafe HX1 and successfully completed awards such as NVQ level 1 in Hospitality and Level 2 Food Safety in Catering.

Summer opening times

• Monday to Friday: 9.30 am - 4.00pm
• Saturday to Sunday: 9.30 am - 5.00pm

Note: During school Summer holidays Monday to Sunday: 9.30 am - 6.00pm.

Winter opening times

From Monday 28^th November 2011 until further notice

• Monday and Tuesday: Closed
• Wednesday to Sunday: 9.30am - 3.00pm

Christmas closure

Cafe will close on Friday 24^th December 2011 until Monday 2^nd January 2012

Opening as normal from Tuesday 3^rd January 2012
