Training courses and taster days are organised regularly for Dry Stone Walling, Blacksmithing and Apple Tree Maintenance. For more details see our events.
Gift shop
Shibden Hall has a variety of wonderful gifts and local crafts goods for sale. There is free entry to the gift shop during the opening hours to the Hall, which is located inside the main entrance doors. Come and see what’s on offer.

All publications can be purchased at Shibden Hall or by mail order. Send order / payment details to us; for contact details see Location, opening times and contact. When mail ordering a small amount will be added to the cost of the publication to cover post and packing.
Guided tours and private visits
These can be arranged to suit your group and your special interest. Trails and self guided tours are available from the Shibden Hall shop.

Shibden Tea Rooms
Spend a leisurely hour enjoying a cream scone and a cup of tea or tempt yourself to a seasonal winter warmer or Shibden’s famous toasties.
Special tea room offers include:
- Cream tea (or cafetiere of fresh coffee)
- Soup and a sandwich offers
- Toasties, crumpets and tea cakes
- Packed lunch (groups of 5 or more)
- Children’s special lunch box orders.
Opening hours of the Tea Room
- 1 April - 30 November:
Monday to Saturday 10 am - 4 pm; Sundays 12 noon – 4 pm; - 1 December – 31 March:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 11 am - 3.30 pm (closed Wednesdays)
Saturdays 11 am - 4 pm
Sundays 12 noon - 4 pm.
Please order 20 minutes before the advertised closing time.
Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day.
The Tea Rooms are also available for private functions. Please telephone the Hall for contact details.
