WiFi zones
We regret that there continue to be problems worldwide with our WiFi service provider, that prevent us currently providing WiFi hotspots.
We are working to find alternative ways of delivering this service, but regret we are unable as yet to state when this service will be available to customers.
There are currently 4 WiFi Zones in Calderdale Libraries and this free service is available to all library members at:
Once registered users may make use of a daily usage limit of up to 2 hour / 200MB (limits are approximate) of web browsing. To register for this service, please ask the staff at the library counter.
Please note that at the Central Library, there are designated power points for charging your WiFi-enabled device - these are located on the first floor of the lending library, beside the lift.
We also offer a reciprocal arrangement for customers of Heath Training Centre to use the WiFi service at our designated libraries.
