Requests service

Whichever Library you use, from the smallest to the largest, we can draw on the resources of the whole Calderdale system to satisfy your requirements for books and other materials.

Any title listed on our catalogue can be reserved - there is no charge. You can do this from any Library - and if you have a PC and Internet access, you can make your request by reserving online via the Library catalogue . For a fee of £1.50 we can search further afield through our interlibrary loan system.

Books are the obvious item that many people require but we can also obtain a wide range of music, periodicals and plays. Sound recordings and many DVDs may also be requested from all libraries.

Don’t worry if you don't know the author or title of an item, we can usually help. Just ask.
