Britannica Online offers unlimited access to the full, updated content of the 32-volume Encyclopædia Britannica, thousands of video and audio clips, hundreds of magazine and journal articles plus Britannica's Student and Concise encyclopædias. You will be able to find accurate and informative results on virtually any topic you are interested in.

Simply select the level of information you require:

For ages 5 to 11, Britannica Junior| .

For ages 12 to 18, Britannica Student| .

For ages 18+, . Encyclopaedia Britannica| .

If you are in a Calderdale library, the site will appear automatically. If you are not in a library, you can access the resource using your Calderdale library card. Simply enter the number below the library barcode into the ‘Card Number’ box onscreen.
