English National Concessionary Pass

Example English National Concessionary Pass for a person with a disability Holders of the English National Concessionary Pass (ENCP) are entitled to the same discounts as Passport to Leisure cardholders at most of the venues listed as this website. Whilst the ENCP can be used at all Calderdale Council run facilities, please check beforehand to see if it is accepted at non Calderdale Council facilities.

What is the ENCP?

In 2008 the Government introduced the "English National Concessionary Pass" giving over 60s and eligible disabled and blind groups free off-peak bus travel in England. The ENCP replaced other local concessionary travel passes that covered these groups previously.

Where can I get an ENCP?

The ENCP is issued by the organisation which administers local concessionary travel schemes. In West Yorkshire this is Metro and passes can be applied for at any West Yorkshire Post Office or Bus Station Travel Centre. For more information about the ENCP scheme and to see whether you are entitled to a card, contact WY Metro (if you live in West Yorkshire) or your local provider if you live outside West Yorkshire.
