Passport to Leisure
Introduction
Welcome to the 'all new' Calderdale Passport to Leisure scheme... the small card with the big benefits!
Passport to Leisure is a card scheme run by Calderdale Council which enables qualifying groups of people to enjoy fantastic discounts on sport, recreation, leisure and cultural facilities provided by the Council and other participating organisations.
There are currently more than 50 places offering discounts to Passport to Leisure cardholders.
The scheme was given a 'facelift' for 2009 with some exciting changes:
- The card fee has been scrapped and the scheme is now free to join
- The scheme is now open to both Calderdale residents and non residents.
If you already have a Bradford or Rochdale Passport to Leisure card, you can continue to use this to get discounts at Calderdale Council facilities. - Passport to Leisure membership now lasts for 2 years instead of 1.
Also introduced in 2009 was the inclusion of the Government's English National Concessionary Pass (ENCP). Holders of an ENCP now automatically benefit from Passport to Leisure discounts without needing to join the Passport to Leisure scheme.
