St. Valentine's Day is the most widely celebrated Saints Day in the calendar. But who was St. Valentine? And how did he become associated with love and passion? When were the first Valentine's cards sent?

Find out all this and more in this talk by Claire Selby, Curator of Social History, illustrated by original valentine's cards from the collection at Bankfield Museum.
