Delivering the legacy
Calderdale Gold is overseen by Calderdale Cultural Partnership which reports to Calderdale Forward (Local Strategic Partnership for Calderdale) through the Economy and Enterprise Delivery Group.
This official positioning highlights the importance of the legacy in Calderdale and also links to other important local agendas such as regeneration, tourism and health which Calderdale Gold contributes to.
The Calderdale Gold Programme Group has been set up to shape, facilitate and promote Calderdale Gold programme. This is a multiagency group with representatives from the public, private and voluntary sector who are all valuably contributing in different ways to the outcomes of the programme. This group is open to new members and new ideas so if you are interested in joining and bringing something to the group, email calderdalegold@calderdale.gov.uk
The Programme Group is also responsible for performance management of the programme on an overall and project-by-project basis. Further details of the actions are available on request. Performance will be measured against the contribution to existing participation indicators and outcomes such as Participation in Sport, Engagement in the Arts, Use of Public Libraries and Visits to Museums and Galleries. Performance will also be evaluated according to each project’s ability to contribute to one of the five themes of the programme.
