Composting

In April 2005 Calderdale Council launched its new home compost scheme thanks to funding provided by the Waste Resources Action Programme (WRAP).

Following a successful couple of years, selling over 3,500 compost bins the scheme has been extended again to the end of March 2009 and continues to offer subsidised compost bins to residents.

• Compost Converter 220 litre = £17.00 (includes free delivery).
• Compost Converter 330 litre = £20.00 (includes free delivery).
• Komp 250 litre = £40.00 (includes free delivery).
