Making Calderdale safer

These reductions are due to partnership working. Over the course of the last 4 years, there have been a number of projects and initiatives running.

Working in partnership

To tackle crime and disorder and make Calderdale a safer place, Calderdale Council is working in partnership with the following agencies:

West Yorkshire Police

West Yorkshire Police use Neighbourhood Policing Teams to work across four different localities of Calderdale.

Pennine Housing 2000

Pennine Housing 2000 are a registered social landlord based in Calderdale and are a key partner in the Safer & Stronger Communities Delivery Partnership. The Council works closely with Pennine Housing on tackling anti-social behaviour and work around the RESPECT agenda: Respect in Communities|External link.
