Contact Housing Options Service

We aim to give a helpful, friendly and professional service at all times. We have published standards for all our services that lay down the level of service people can expect when they contact us. For a copy of these standards, contact the Housing Options Service.

Helping us improve our services

The Housing Options Service aims to improve the quality and range of help provided. We carry out regular service reviews to make sure the services we provide meet service users needs, are good quality and offer good value for money. As part of this we would like you to tell us what you think of our service and how we could improve it. Contact the Housing Options Service on the details provided and let us know what you think.

Opening hours

Since 4th January 2010 Calderdale Council Housing Options Service has been operating a new way of assessing your needs. You can now access the service through one of the following ways:

• you can come to Doorways for drop-in at the times below to be seen that day, or
• a Housing Advisor will contact you by telephone within 1 working day of your enquiry or at a time to suit you. You will be able to discuss your housing issues freely and any advice given will be followed up with a letter confirming that advice if appropriate. In some cases, an appointment will be made for you to meet with an advisor.
