Choice based letting scheme

Find a house to rent from Pennine Housing 2000 and other Housing Associations through the KeyChoice Scheme. This system has replaced housing lists.

The Housing Options Service at Doorways offers free and confidential advice on a range of housing problems.

Housing advice

Housing associations Calderdale Council no longer owns any housing. However, there are several registered social landlords who have homes to rent throughout Calderdale.
Extra care housing This is housing that offers older people, who are frail or disabled, their own home - together with the help they need to stay independent.
Low cost home ownership As a result of the Government's HomeBuy initiative, there are several ways people on low incomes can buy their own home, including shared ownership schemes.
Supporting People Calderdale Supporting People is aimed at people in the local community who need housing-related support and help to pay for it.
