Service charges

Introduction

Calderdale Building Control Services is a non-profit making organisation therefore we can keep the charges to a minimum; the money which Building Control receives is used solely to enhance the service.

Our charges have not been increased since April 2003, however due to the increased complexity of the Building Regulations and the need to further invest to improve the service for our customers, a small increase in charges is to be introduced from 1 June 2008.

The three different Charges Schedules listed, all relate to different types of work, from Schedule 1 (Table A) which includes domestic dwellings to Schedule 3 (Table C) which includes conversions to dwellings, new warehouse and other large projects.

It is advisable to read the Guidance Notes on Charges before reading the appropriate Schedule.
