Adaptations for elderly and disabled people

The Adaptations Agency provide a comprehensive service to elderly and disabled people in Calderdale who need to make certain adaptations to their homes.

Eligibility for adaptations

Anyone who is elderly or disabled and having difficulty getting in and around the home, up and down the stairs or in using essential facilities, such as getting in and out of the bath.

How do I get an adaptation to my home?

If you would like an adaptation to your home you will need to contact your local Social Services office and ask for a Customer Service Advisor. They will be able to arrange for an Occupational Therapist to visit your home and assess your needs. If the Occupational Therapist decides that you need an adaptation they will send a referral to The Adaptations Agency.

Upon completion of every Major work and 10% of all Minor Works, we carry out a Customer Satisfaction Survey.
