Take your garden waste to the collection points at the Household Waste Recycling Centres.
You can dispose of grass cuttings, hedge trimmings, leaves, pot plants and small branches. Please do not put plant pots, soil, rubble or any other garden equipment in refuse sacks or in the skips.

Gift wrapping paper
Gift wrapping paper can be recycled via the kerbside collection service weekly, just put it in the green plastic sack used with your paper and thin card.
However, please ensure that wrapping paper with foil or glitter is not placed in the green plastic sack, as this type of material contaminates the paper recycling process.
Glass bottles and jars
Glass bottles and jars can be recycled using your kerbside collection service weekly, just put them in the black recycling container.
Alternatively, they can be deposited in a number of bottle banks throughout Calderdale.
Birthday, Christmas and other cards can be recycled via the kerbside collection service weekly, just put them in the green plastic sack with your paper items.
However, please ensure that cards with foil or glitter are not placed in the green plastic sack, as these materials contaminate the paper recycling process.
