The developer will normally be required to contribute to the enhancement of the quality of off-site open space, sport and recreation facilities within appropriate distance thresholds in accordance with the adopted provision standards. This is normally achieved by a planning agreement. If any new open space, sport or recreation facilities are on-site, will they be large enough to be both fit for purpose and cost-effective to maintain?
