1.1 This document has been prepared as part of the Local Development Framework (LDF) and in accordance with the Local Development Scheme (LDS). As the Core Strategy has not yet been prepared this Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) is linked to policies contained in the Replacement Calderdale Unitary Development Plan 2006 (RCUDP). The document was previously published for Early Community Engagement in July/August 2007 and for formal consultation 30 November 2007 to 11 January 2008, under Regulation 17 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004, to seek views on the issues and options relating to Open Space, Sport and Recreation facilities contributions and provision. Policy options have been refined in the light of the comments received in this consultation period will help to formulate the final document.
