Land Allocations and Designations

Site Submissions

The initial  ‘Call for Sites’ for the Local Development Framework (LDF) has now ended. However, the Council will continue to accept site submissions as part of the front loading process of the LDF. Therefore, if you wish to submit a site to be considered for housing, employment, mixed use or any other form of development, please complete the form: Site Submission Form [PDF file 43KB]|

The form should be accompanied by an OS based map showing the boundary of the site, and any other supporting information concerning the site.

The front loading process does not have a specified end date but the earlier the completed forms are submitted the greater the opportunity will be for the Council to consider them during preparation of the LDF.

Sites submission forms may be submitted in the following ways:

• e-mail spatial.planning@calderdale.gov.uk 
• in person at Planning Services Reception, 2nd Floor, Northgate House, Halifax
• posted to Calderdale MBC, Spatial Planning, 2nd Floor, Northgate House, Halifax, HX1 1UN.
