The Kirklees Partnership for Employment Based Teacher Training (EBTT) is seeking a Partnership Manager for its highly successful and very popular Graduate Teacher Programme.
We are looking for a successful and highly regarded Headteacher who has:
- An excellent understanding and knowledge of the employment based route for teacher training
- A proven track record of working in partnership and collaboration with schools, the local authority and other partners ie University
- An awareness of the TDA framework and requirements.
- An understanding of how this contributes to the recruitment and retention of a professional school workforce
- Resilience and capacity to work to tight deadlines
- Experience and ability to work at a strategic level with the Management Board and other key stakeholders and at an operational level to ensure that key targets are met and reported on
- A commitment to taking forward the successes of the current programme in Kirklees and Calderdale
The responsibilities of the Manager will include:
- recruitment of new applicants
- oversight of documentation, e.g. TDA database, action plan, website
- Training and Assessment
- Managing the Tutor Team
- Financial management
- Developing and supporting partner schools
- Evaluation of the programme
- Ensuring the programme is compliant with TDA requirements
- Supporting and developing local networks
- Contributing to Regional and National networks
The tender is initially for 90 days pro rata across an academic year. The contract will be managed by the EBTT Management Board. The daily rate will be £300. We are looking for someone to start 1 April 2010 to 31 August 2011 and will be subject to review thereafter.
