Equalities

Introduction

The Corporate Equality Team has been set up to advise, assist and support the Council to deliver its equality agenda.

One of the primary objectives of the team is to ensure that equality and diversity is not treated as a stand-alone agenda, but rather as an integral part of the delivery of all the Council's functions.  The team is responsible for providing support and guidance to the Council to enable the Equality and Diversity Scheme to be implemented.
