Examples of good practice

This section of the website highlights some examples of good practice. The Council aims to improve knowledge and skills in delivering equality and diversity in the work it undertakes. This will help to support the improvement and development of our services to the public.

We will continue to update this section as more initiatives become available.

Calderdale Compact

The Compact supports and enables the joint work and shared agenda expressed through the Calderdale Futures Plan.

The Compact sets out key principal for joint work, and states the commitments and expectations of different partner sectors. These commit partners to strive for best practice wherever possible in all joint-working arrangements.

Calderdale Engage: Community Consultations

The Calderdale Engage is a consultation portal. Through this you can view details of all consultations that the Council and Partner Organisations are planning, consultations taking place now and read the outcomes of consultations that we have completed.

Calderdale Futures Plan 2006 - 2016

Looking at the big issues affecting the quality of life in Calderdale, the Calderdale Futures Plan  brings together all the organisations that have a shared interest in, and commitment to, promoting the social, environmental and economic well-being of Calderdale.
