Introduction

The Professional Learning programme has a wider range of courses than has been offered for many years and it builds upon the feedback we received last year.

The Professional Learning programme contains training and development opportunities for leaders and managers, teachers and support staff; with relevant sections linked to Early Years, Primary and Secondary. Other sections support Professional Learning opportunities for NQTs, leadership and management and teaching assistants.

Once again we have built upon the invaluable comments from teachers and schools across Calderdale.

How to apply

Step 1

Browse the Course calendar or Course search for training event that suits your needs.

Step 2

Calderdale school staff

1. Select the activity of your choice and make a note of the course code
2. Approach your school for approval to attend the activity
3. Your Leader of Professional Learning has login and access rights to process bookings in your school via the on-line booking system

Non Calderdale school staff

If you find an activity that you are interested in please contact the Workforce Development Team on 01422 392505 to enquiry about the booking procedure.

Step 3

You will receive confirmation after the course closing date.
