Wholemeal fruit bars
"A chunky bar with sunflower seeds to give an extra crunch"

Ingredients
150g Wholemeal Self-Raising Flour
150g Hard Margarine
150g Dark Brown Sugar
200g Mixed Fruit
50g Oats
37g Sunflower Seeds
2 Eggs lightly beaten
13g extra Sunflower Seeds
Instructions
- Gently melt margarine and sugar in a large saucepan.
- Add flour, fruit, oats, 37g of sunflower seeds and the lightly beaten eggs. Mix well.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the tin, and sprinkle with the extra 13g sunflower seeds.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven for approximately 40 minutes on the middle shelf.
- Cool in the tin and cut into bars.
- The wholemeal fruit bars freeze well.
