For families

How about a Pram Walk with stories, Arty Picnics, mask making. Or meet Cinderella or come with us on a Bear Hunt. Both at Shibden Hall Museum.

Sparks runs in all our Museums and Galleries for 5-11 year olds. Come along and join in fantastic art activities, storytelling using original museum objects, learn about our local history and culture through trails and handling historical objects, meet some characters from history! Sparks! is usually free for families.

Saturday Art Clubs meet at the Brighouse Library and Smith Art Gallery and at Bankfield Museum on Saturday mornings in term, between 10am - 12noon. Learn how to develop your art skills with our professional staff!

For play schemes

Separate arrangements are made for play schemes wishing to attend events in museums and galleries. Please do not turn up at public events without contacting Discover first. There is a small charge for play schemes.

For adults

We offer adult education courses mainly at Bankfield Museum. These include workshops based on the permanent collections and temporary exhibitions. These are often run by the artists who created the work.
