Schools admissions 2011 consultation

Introduction

The Local Authority is currently consulting on the admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled schools for entry into primary and secondary schools in September 2011. This includes the co-ordinated scheme which will apply along with oversubscription criteria, which will be applied in the event that more preferences are received for a school than there are places available.

The voluntary aided and foundation schools within Calderdale, including the foundation grammar schools, are also consulting on their admission arrangements.
