Emergency school closures

Introduction

You can Check your school to see if it has been affected by an emergency closure.

Where the status reads ‘No information provided’, this means the school has not informed the web site and it is advisable to keep checking for updates in the event of an emergency e.g. adverse weather.  The status will be reviewed daily.

BBC Radio Leeds will broadcast information about school closures at quarter past and quarter to the hour at breakfast time. Radio Leeds is available on 92.4FM and 774AM (95.3FM in Luddenden).

The Pulse radio station also broadcasts updates on 97.5FM and 92.5FM.

If a school has to close during the day due to adverse weather conditions or other emergency situations, parents/carers will be contacted by the school if pupils are being sent home early or at short notice.
