Buying DVDs, BluRays and CDs for libraries
Our DVD, BluRay and music CD collections remain among the best Sound and Vision libraries in the country.
We are building on the success of our collections at Central Library (Halifax), Hebden Bridge Library, Todmorden Library and King Cross Library. Most new titles will go to these libraries first, before being circulated to our other collections.
Top new DVDs will cost £2.50 to borrow. All other DVDs will cost £1.60 for a week’s loan. That’s a real bargain, and gives borrowers plenty of time to fit watching their DVD into their schedule. Lower priced titles will be available from Autumn 2011.
Apart from new premium DVDs, BluRays, all Sound and Vision titles can be requested, and you can suggest titles that you think should be added to stock.
